This Is Ours: Youth Pre-convening to Women's March

This is Ours is a half day convening on January 20th prior to the 2018 Women's March in Nevada. This training institute is open to all young people between the ages of 15-25 years old who want to learn how to organize their communities through a youth centered reproductive justice framework. The training will take place from 12pm-6pm, followed by dinner and poster making.

What we know for sure at Advocates for Youth is that young people are the experts of their own lives. This is especially true when we all work together to make sure you have all the tools and resources available to you to advocate on your own behalf. You are the leaders and this movement belongs to YOU!

During the convening young leaders will develop a collective youth platform to be shared by young leaders from the stage during the Women's March. Participants will have the opportunity to develop grassroots and digital organizing skills to build power in their communities and get involved in local campaigns.

If you are under 18, we will follow up with guardian consent forms to participate in the training.
