The Young Women of Color for Reproductive Justice Leadership Council (YWOC4RJ LC) is a dedicated group of 11 young women of color who will work to educate, mobilize, and amplify issues impacting their community and ensure access to their full reproductive rights and sexual health education.
The goals of the YWOC4RJ LC are:
• To raise awareness among young people, especially young women of color, about the need for sexual health and reproductive rights.
• To advocate for the inclusion of YWOC in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of sexual health and reproductive rights programs and policies.
• To engage and mobilize young women of color ages 13-24 on issues that impact them and their communities.
Throughout the year, YWOC4RJ LC will collectively focus on 5 core issue areas: Reproductive Justice, Abortion Rights, Contraceptive Access, Healthy Relationships, HIV/STIs, LGBTQ health and rights, and Sexual Violence.

Selected recipients will receive a full scholarship to attend Urban Retreat, a full day conference in Washington DC, as well as a $500 stipend for the year to support conducting activities related to YWOC LC.
