Know Your IX's Campus Action Network (IX-CAN) is a private group for students who work with Know Your IX or are in our Campus Action Network (IX-CAN) to share resources, coordinate strategies, and build community -- because we’re stronger together! IX-CAN is a space FOR students BY students to talk about organizing strategies, policy ideas, and critical legislation to end gender-based violence and discrimination in schools. Student survivors and activists from all across the nation are coming together to collaborate, share resources, and build a more unified national movement to end sexual and domestic violence on campus and beyond! Here are some ways to use the group: Ask what prevention ed programs work well, ask people to sign and share your petition, share an event you have coming up and ask folks to attend, find info about certain laws, organizations, etc.

KYIX members will also use this group to share national campaigns, monthly training opportunities, press opportunities, and provide continued support to student organizers. IX-CAN members will also be given priority placements for our IX-Action regional trainings. We’re using our collective reach and visibility to support each other and lift up the work students are leading on the ground -- especially that of students whose voices are too often erased and silenced.

This group is intended as a safe space for ALL survivors and activist allies, including LGBTQ and trans people, people of color, low-income people, undocumented people, people with disabilities, and their allies and supporters. Harassment, oppression, or offensive comments will not be tolerated. It will be up to the discretion of group administrators to delete potentially offensive or triggering comments or to remove members.
